We've taken all the great qualities and functionality of our multi-work station easels and made design adjustments to enhanced the appearance. This easel looks great and will be a perfect compliment to your studio and your artwork. Easel stands 76 inches at its most compact, 106 inches at its highest point with a 22 inch by 18 inch footprint. Manufactured out of Northern red oak with beautiful golden finish. Features 18 inch mounted bottom gripper and 1 adjustable 12 inch gripper to hold 48 inch tall canvas. Includes stainless steel thinner bucket, paper towel holder and 2 lower 23 1/2 inch by 15 inch supply shelves. 32 inch by 44 inch table surface can be used as a palette. Easy cam locking assembly system.

| 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful  I can see why it was on sale, but still worth it., By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: American Easel Oak Premier Paint Station-Golden Finish (Kitchen) I had to call their help desk to get this thing assembled, because the instructions neglect to mention that the picture is backward. (The bucket is on the right side, and you can put the paper towel holder on either side.) Adding to the confusion, the center mast is installed backward for shipping. You have to unscrew the knob behind it, pull it out and turn it around so that the bottom ledge for your canvas is in front.Once we got that all sorted out, I found that the holes to attach the top half to the bottom do not line up, and the "long" screws are too short. I had to widen the holes with a drill, making it a bit less sturdy, but at least now the top is attached. That said, the shelves are excellent for storage. The easel is not bad for me at 5'3, but would probably be even better for a taller person. The base is very sturdy and supports a fair amount of weight.
